Peperino requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination for all employees and for customers 5 and over who want their order to stay in compliance with New York City’s vaccine mandate for indoor dining. Limited seated dining is available indoors as well as outdoors at our private sidewalk cafe or directly across the street at Waterline Square’s public plaza. Peperino, established in June of 2019, is proudly celebrating its 1st Anniversary serving authentic NYC pizza with $20.19 (tax included) cheese pies for the month of June.
We are grateful for our hard working staff who helped us get through the challenges of the 1st year -especially during recent months. A huge thank you to our customers who have supported us since day 1 and showered us with sincere appreciation for being open during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Although we are extremely proud or our food and accomplishments thus far, we are always looking to improve and find new ways to surprise our customers with premium NYC pizzeria food.

Dear Customers:
Peperino will re-open on Monday, May 4, 2020. Although these are uniquely challenging times we hope that our return will restore some normality for our neighbors and bring back a much needed connection to the community.
Initially, we will continue to offer our full pizza menu as well as other limited favorites and we will be take-out and delivery only. Our space has been sanitized and we have added additional separation elements to help keep everyone as safe as possible.

Dear Customers:
Out of abundance of caution and with heavy hearts, we have decided to temporarily shut down Peperino effective April 8, 2020.
Know that Peperino and the community it serves are precious to us and that we made this decision for the wellbeing of our hard working staff and neighbors.
Scientific projections suggest that the next couple of weeks will require additional social separation so we will take a (hopefully) brief pause from serving our premium authentic NYC pizza to the community.

Dear customers, we always knew that a great slice of authentic NYC pizza was essential to any neighborhood but that sentiment has taken on a new meaning during these uncertain times. For now we are permitted to operate as an essential business and will remain open as long as wen can do so safely.
Starting on March 22, 2020 we will be closing at 9PM daily, with the exception of Fridays when we will remain open until 10PM. We are making this change based on our customers’ patterns this past week and in an effort to reduce the load on our hard-working staff.
On behalf of our entire team thank you so much to everyone who has supported us from the beginning and especially during this crisis. Stay tuned for more updates as things continue to evolve.

Dear customers, the City of New York has instituted a takeout/delivery only policy for all restaurants which means that we unfortunately can no longer allow you to dine-in at our pizzeria. For now, our doors will be open during regular hours (11AM-10PM daily) for take-out or delivery and we will continue to offer a 5% discount on all online orders which can be placed by visiting our website (PeperinoNYC.com) or the SLICE app.
The health and safety of our guests, neighbors and hard working staff remain our top priority. As long as we can do so responsibly, we will continue to offer our premium authentic NYC pizza to the Riverside South community.
During these uncertain times, we are taking precautionary measures on top of the meticulous procedures we already have in place. Such actions include:
Closely monitoring updates on COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization and NY State & City governmental organizations.
Instructing our staff to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms.
In addition to following our standard cleaning procedures, our staff will be sanitizing all surfaces throughout the day including door handles, chairs, condiment holders, etc.
We will continue to monitor any and all news in regards to best practices.
We are striving to provide the highest levels of hospitality and quality that our customers have come to expect of Peperino.
